Granite XS is a start-up company that has built an app to facilitate communication and file sharing between all branches of the medical profession and their patients. The app is almost ready for launch, and we require the services of a person to assist our senior developer.
GraniteXS is owned by several leading London surgeons and businesspeople. The app will revolutionise the way medical professionals and their patients communicate securely and has already received enthusiastic support from many leading hospitals and practices.
The opportunity for the company is to enter the medical communications market using disruptive technology and revolutionary thinking, placing the patient at the centre of the doctor/patient relationship.
Accordingly, GraniteXS now requires a Junior Developer to back up the senior developer and provide some customer support for technical questions.
The successful candidate would undertake the following duties:
· Work with the senior developer to design and code new functionality
· Liaise with independent testers and help to ensure the quality and efficiency of the customer journey
· Ensure updates and maintenance are done securely and on time
· Deal with customer support queries of a technical nature
· Work with a small but dedicated team of entrepreneurs
The successful candidate must be capable of undertaking the above duties to an exceptionally high standard and will also be able to meet the following requirements:
· Fluent in English and legally resident in the UK
· A comprehensive and verified track record of working on other apps
· An ability to work with a senior developer and accept direction
· Experience and qualification in at least one of: React, React Native and Node.js
· A willingness to learn new technologies
· 2-3 years of experience in a junior role
